    3D Laser Scanning LFM software:

LFM (Light Form Modeler) is a strong 3D laser scanning software package, who handles throughout the point cloud data and asset lifecycle. LFM is hardware and software vendor neutral. It accepts data from all 3D laser scanners and exports to 3D integrated plant design systems CAD and Review platforms.

    • LFM Register

Registration is the process by which separate 3D laser scan files are correctly orientated to a defined coordinate system. LFM Register is equipped with tools and techniques that allow this registration process to take place and also promote confidence as to its quality. In the field productivity that can be achieved with 3D laser scanners is constantly improving. LFM Register has moved the registration process off the critical project path so that clients can quickly receive the full benefit from laser scan data. With LFM Register there is no accuracy vs. time trade-off; its features give accurate registration for a large dataset within minutes.

    • LFM NetView

LFM NetView is an important member of the LFM product family. Working either as a standalone application or as a plug-in to a web browser, it provides secure internet access to laser scan projects. Until now these kinds of remote access issues have posed a real challenge to organizations. Previously in process, power, marine and particularly asset management applications, data relating to the asset could not be shared between engineers, owners and operators unless it was held locally. LFM NetView provides collaborative, team-based, multi-discipline measurement and mark-up facilities.

    • LFM Server

Since the inception of LFM Server, the LFM Unlimited Group has recognized the importance of developing software that is able to withstand and manage large point cloud datasets generated from high resolution scans. When compared to other products LFM Server is able to comfortably handle massive amounts of data.

    • LFM Modeller

LFM Modeller’s main focus is to allow the user to rapidly create a 3D plant model from laser scan data in an extremely incremental, intuitive and interactive way.

    LFM Software – Key Features

The BubbleView™ provides a 360° high-resolution 3D image. It is so powerful that the user has the impression of being on site.

Using LFM’s InfiniteCore™ technology, an unlimited number of registered scans can be stored in a single dataset, without compromise. Access speed and quality of laser scan data are unaffected.

LFM is hardware neutral. This has cost-saving implications for LFM customers since only one software solution is required, even when using multiple hardware systems.

LFM is CAD neutral. Users can interface seamlessly with their preferred CAD package and ‘clash check’ a proposed design against an existing installation.

Rubesh Co. purposefully and professionally uses LFM software, which is "the most comprehensive point cloud management software and modeling as-built conditions". LFM is a special and strategic software for managing As-built information in all design and engineering software. In recent years, this software has become an integral part of loading point cloud models in all modeling and engineering software. Updated versions of engineering software clearly shows how important "3D laser scanning and 3D models and point cloud models" are in the modern engineering world. Nowadays all design and engineering software in order to wider access in the markets and retain their customers, considered this feature as a most important development issue. in this regard PDMS software, which is a well-known name in the field of oil and gas for professional users and detail design engineers, in its recent versions (from 2012) has added this possibility as a new feature to load the information obtained from 3D laser scanning.
